Spanish Trail Country Club is one of the valley’s original private clubs, a 27 hole Robert Trent Jones Jr. layout inside a guard gated community just west of the Strip. Founded in the mid 1980s, it hosted the PGA Las Vegas Invitational five times and is the home course of the UNLV women’s golf team. The course
Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed Spanish Trail as three distinct nines. The Canyon is the most demanding at about 3,576 yards, the Lakes brings water into play on six of nine holes at about 3,427 yards, and the Sunrise features a signature ninth hole waterfall at about 3,426 yards. Combined they give members a varied 27 hole championship layout with a real tournament pedigree.
