Hale Irwin, a three time U.S. Open champion, teamed with architect Keith Foster to route a course that uses the natural desert elevation rather than fighting it. Fairways roll with the terrain, greens are protected by bunkering and short game runoffs, and several holes open up to long views across Henderson. At 7,318 yards and par 72 it gives better players plenty to think about, while the forward tees keep it playable for everyday members. The par fives, including the 643 yard eighth, reward a bold second shot, and the closing par five eighteenth brings you back toward the clubhouse.
