Believe, Expect, Receive, Become: Lessons From the 2026 NVision Summit

Amy and Tzahi Arbeli with speaker Tim Storey at the 2026 NVision Nevada Realtors summit

On Wednesday, April 22nd, Tzahi and I attended NVision, the Nevada REALTORS® annual summit in Las Vegas. We came away with a few takeaways worth passing along — some about where the local market is heading, and one mindset shift from a speaker that’s stuck with me since.

A Strong Signature Presence

It was great to see how many Signature Real Estate Group agents were in the room. Both of our co-owners, Brandon Roberts and George Kypreos, were on panels throughout the day discussing where Nevada real estate is headed and how Signature is positioning agents and clients for the next few years. Always good to hear leadership think out loud.

Where Las Vegas Is Headed: The Numbers

One of the more practical sessions came from Dr. Shawn McCoy, Director of UNLV’s Lied Center for Real Estate. A few stats from his talk that are worth knowing if you live here or are thinking about it:

  • Roughly 380,000 people are projected to move to Southern Nevada over the next ten years.
  • About 88% of land in Clark County is federally owned, most of it by the Bureau of Land Management.
  • Only around 27,000 acres of disposable BLM land remain — roughly the size of Summerlin.

The math is straightforward: a lot more demand, very little new land to build on. For homeowners, that’s a tailwind. For buyers, it’s a reason to think hard about timing and to look beyond next quarter when evaluating a purchase.

Tim Storey on Mindset

The speaker that stuck with me most was Tim Storey. His framework for moving forward in any part of your life was four words:

Believe. Expect. Receive. Become.

Believe it’s possible. Expect it to actually happen. Be ready to receive it when it shows up. Then put in the work to become the person who lives that life.

It’s a useful frame for anything — buying a first home, growing a business, making a big move — that requires you to act before the outcome is guaranteed. I came in expecting market data and walked out thinking about how that applies to the way I work with clients.

Tzahi and I grabbed a photo with him afterward.

What This Means For You

Two things to take away. One: the long-term picture for Las Vegas real estate is shaped by population growth and constrained land — both pointing in the same direction. Two: how you approach a big decision matters as much as the market does.
